WTI Privacy Policy

This app keeps your inventory and photos encrypted on your own device. There's no server, no account, and no one but you has access to that information.

Effective: August 29, 2026 Applies to: WTI for Android Document version: 1.0

In short

01

Who's responsible for this app

WTI is a personal inventory app developed by Marco Antonio Velasco Plascencia as an independent developer. This policy describes what information the WTI Android app uses, how it's stored, and who it's shared with (spoiler: no one).

02

What information the app uses

WTI works as a digital notebook for organizing boxes, items, and locations around your home or business. To do that, it processes the following entirely on your device:

WTI doesn't ask for an email address, phone number, GPS location, or any data to create an account, because there's no account to create.

03

How it's stored and protected

All information lives exclusively in your phone's internal storage:

A verifiable fact

The app doesn't request internet access permission in its Android configuration. That's not a policy promise — it's a technical restriction baked into the app's own installer.

04

Device permissions

WTI requests only the permissions it strictly needs to work:

Camera — photographing boxes and items Biometrics — fast login (optional)

No location, contacts, microphone, SMS, or general storage-access permissions are requested.

05

Backups

From Settings you can manually export an encrypted backup (.zip) of your inventory and photos. When you do:

06

07

Deleting your data

08

Children's privacy

WTI is a general-purpose organizing tool, not directed at children, and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

09

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future feature requires network access — the effective date at the top of this document will be updated, and any meaningful change will be announced inside the app itself.
